 One of our very own made it into the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association 2010 Honor Jazz Band. Scott Woods, a senior who plays in the Valhalla Jazz Band, was one of 18 students chosen from all of Southern California to be part of this prestigious group. He will be performing on February 13th at Disneyland and February 14th at CSU Fullerton with this group. Check the SCSBOA Website for more details about the performances. |

Hollywood “Night On the Town” is February 20 from 7-11 pm. The event will take place downtown at Culys, off of 6th Street. In addition to a night of dancing and fun, we will also have photo booths and game tables. Tickets go on sale February 1st and are $45 with an ASB card, and $50 without one or for an outside guest. Students must have a signed clearance form in order to buy tickets. |
I would like to remind those of you trying out for a Spring Sport that tryouts for many of those teams begin Feburary 20th. You must complete a clearence packet including a physical before participating. The school will be having physicals on February 11th at 3pm in room 318 for $20. Students can bring there completed packet to the physical and be cleared on the spot. Spring sports include; Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, Boys Tennis, Boys Golf, Gymnastics, Swim/Dive, Boys Volleyball, and Boys Lacrosse.

Beginning January 2010 Valhalla High School will be implementing the "No Electronic Devices" policy. Electronic devices must be turned off between the hours of 7:00 and 3:00 and not be used. Electronic devices can be confiscated for students who violate the policy. Your help to make Valhalla free of distractions is greatly appreciated.
