Valhalla’s summer school program with Valhalla teachers is scheduled to take place at the back of the Grossmont High School campus. Session I will begin June 8 and conclude on June 26. Session II will begin June 29 and will conclude on July 17. Any student that did not pass a class during the first or second semester should plan to attend summer school. Free transportation from Valhalla to Grossmont High School will be available. Please direct summer school questions to Assistant Principal Sam Lund at 593-5322. Congrats to Mr. David Bradford for being recognized as the 2009-2010 GUHSD Teacher of the Year.
Construction to the New Science Building has begun. The construction area is marked by a green fence. Access to the construction area is restricted to workers only and students are not permitted at any time. For your safety and security, do not climb the fence or otherwise enter the construction area. In addition, there is no longer an exit from the back of school grounds onto Jamacha Rd. You will now need to exit from the front of the school only. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. It will be an inconvienent, noisy and dusty time, but well worth it in the end.
