How to start a club

  • Find some friends who want to start a club with you! 
  • Find a teacher adviser who will support you all year
  • Fill out the club charter with your teacher adviser 
  • Wait patiently for an email from ASB regarding your approval. 
  • Celebrate when you get your approval email! WHOOO! 

How to keep your club in good standing

  • Hold meetings at least once a month 
  • Document minutes at each meeting and submit meeting minutes to the finance office
  • Minutes must designate time, place, members present, and issues discussed  

Can we have some money, please! 

  • ASB has no money to give you, but you can fundraise! 
  • When you are ready to fundraise, you will need to submit a fundraising request.
  • Fundraising requests must be submitted two weeks in advance. 
  • There are many rules and regulations regarding fundraising. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Schow in the Finance Office. 
  • Once your fundraising request has been approved, your adviser will receive an approval email. 

Helpful hints for your club

  • If you are/need to purchase items, they may not be shipped to your home; all items must be shipped to school.
  • All purchases must be pre-approved.  ASB meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to approve purchase requests.
  • You CAN NOT require students to participate in fundraising 
  • You CAN NOT buy a product ahead of time that can not be returned
  • Advisors must supervise and attend all activities
